Saratoga Shooting Sports is a home-based, part-time FFL business located in Saratoga County, NY that is dedicated to helping the local community enjoy and exercise their second amendment rights. We believe strongly in personal freedom and the importance of our constitutional rights.

Pistol Permit Course

Saratoga Shooting Sports is pleased to be able to provide a NYS approved 18 hour concealed carry pistol permit safety course offered in Greenfield Center and Galway, NY for $250 per student. Classes are taught on a single weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). See available dates below.

Discounts:

We'll give you $25 off for every friend or family member that attends class with you.
We also offer a 10% ($25) discount to the following groups:
  1. First responders
  2. Veterans or active duty military
  3. Current members of Fish House Fish & Game Club
  4. Current members of Galway Fish & Game Club
All discounts will be applied on the final payment. Maximum one discount per person.

Refund Policy:

  1. As long as you provide us with at least 48 hours notice, you can apply your deposit to a later class. (Maximum one time.)
  2. Alternately, we will refund your deposit only if and when the class you originally signed up for becomes full.
  3. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours notice) will forfeit their deposit.

Additional Notes:

  1. All course materials will be provided for you, including ammo. There is no additional expense beyond the tuition fee.
  2. Please bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. There's a Stewarts right down the road.
  3. This class is designed for beginners. No previous firearms experience is necessary.
  4. You must take this course before you submit your concealed carry pistol permit application. The course is valid for two years in Saratoga County.
  5. If you live in a county other than Saratoga, we will reach out to your county's licensing division on your behalf to inquire whether they will accept our course. Currently we are also approved for Dutchess, Franklin, Fulton, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Warren and Washington counties and the towns of Bethlehem, Colonie and Guilderland in Albany County.
